The Cabin
Yiftah’el Winery Visitor Center Alon Hagalil
In the middle of enchanted green area we built a beautiful log cabin.
The cabin was first constructed in the Appalachian Mountains by a Scottish immigrant. A local Jewish resident, Allen Redli, bought the cabin, took it apart and shipped it to Alon Hagalil.
For some years the cabin was stored, until we had the idea to reconstruct and use it as our visitor’s center.
Allen was generously keen to hand it over to us and helped to put it up.
The cabin offers a unique atmosphere made of simple beauty and scented by old oak and chestnut woods.
Here you can taste and purchase Yiftah’el wines and Ofir honeys. In the upper floor you would find changing exhibitions of local artists.
