Recent research suggests that the ancestors of Sangiovese grapes were grown in the Middle East and brought to Italy by the Romans. Today, Sangiovese vineyards are spread all over central Italy and famous as the main component of Chianti and Brunello blends. Sangiovese grapes are big in size, juicy and produce fruity and gentle wines.
Yiftah’el is one of few wineries which make pure Sangiovese wines. The grapes grow in a unique micro-climate conditions which manifests in full aromatic wines.
